Mountainside Lodge Description
Welcome to Mountainside Lodge!
Mountainside Lodge is a spacious (4400 sq.ft) LOG cabin getaway in Valle Crucis. Nestled in the woods, this accommodating cabin with seven (7) sleeping areas and five and a half (5.5) bathrooms is a perfect mountain retreat. Designed with warm wood details, a cozy gas fireplace, and ample seating surrounding a large HDTV, the living room is a welcoming hub for this home, with a bright sunroom and additional seating on the other side of the fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped for a crowd with three (3) ovens, stainless appliances, and space for all. There is seating for 18 at multiple tables. In addition, the wrap-around porch boasts multiple swings and chairs to take in the surrounding mountain views. Bring your pup- up to 2 dogs are welcome with an additional pet fee.
The sleeping arrangements are as follows: (sleeps 22 adults and children)

The Game Room has 2 sleeper chairs for kids. (2) and a pool table, air hockey table, darts, and a large HDTV.
Outside, there is an inviting hot tub and and nearby fire pit with Adirondack seating and red cedar stumps ready to go for a marshmallow roast.
There are two (2) washer/dryer sets for large groups. There is parking for five (5) vehicles.
*** The driveway up to this home is steep and gravel - **AWD (All Wheel Drive) or 4WD (4 Wheel Drive) is necessary regardless of season or weather**.
This home is just two minutes from the historic Mast General store and the Valle Crucis Community Park, with multiple playgrounds, basketball courts, soccer fields, walking trails, and access to the Watauga River to enjoy fishing, swimming, and floating.

Cancellations within 60 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
