Families will enjoy a wonderful getaway at this home, with mountain views, a basement game room with foosball, ping-pong, a dart board, and a spacious sloping yard with a fire pit, a charcoal grill, and a picnic table. Get away from it all while being close to all the activities and attractions the High Country offers.
Step into Mountain Melody and find a wonderful great room with high ceilings, natural light, leather furniture, and a stacked stone gas log fireplace. Separating the kitchen and living room is a granite bar top with stools. The kitchen has plenty of space for meal prep and a dining table. The French doors from the kitchen lead out to the back deck, where multiple outdoor dining spaces and a gas grill overlook the beautiful mountain views.
The master bedroom is located on the main floor and includes an ensuite private bathroom, TV, and a view of the mountains. Wander upstairs and find a comfortable queen bedroom, an additional room with a twin bed, and a loft space with a twin day bed and trundle. Included in the loft are a mounted flat-screen TV, bean bag chairs, and games for all ages. The cabin comfortably accommodates 7 guests.
Mountain Melody is less than a mile off Highway 321, making it ideal for those coming up from and through the Charlotte area. Downtown Blowing Rock is only a few miles away. Tweetsie Railroad and Appalachian Ski Mountain are about 5 miles. Boone is about ten miles. Valle Crucis, Sugar Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, and everything else the High Country offers is convenient to guests staying at Mountain Melody.
Additional amenities include central heating and air conditioning on the main and upper floors. The basement area stays cool without a/c and has a wood-burning buck stove for heating.
